DC’s Finest Reposado Agave Spirit
Founding Spirits Reposado begins where our Blanco leaves off. Made from 100% mature blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco — slow-cooked, fermented, and distilled in copper — it’s then aged four months in used Founding Spirits Bourbon barrels, bringing a richness our Blanco’s bright citrus and fresh agave never needed, but our Reposado earns beautifully. The nose opens with roasted agave, vanilla, citrus peel, and soft oak. On the palate, cooked agave, honey, orange peel, and toasted oak give way to hints of pineapple, cherry, walnut, and a touch of anise. The finish is smooth and warming: caramel, light pepper, and gentle spice that linger long after the last sip.

Our Reposado starts with the same commitment as our Blanco — 100% blue agave from the sun-drenched Jalisco highlands, slow-cooked, fermented, and distilled in copper — then goes one step further. Four months of rest in used Founding Spirits Bourbon barrels coaxes out a new layer of character: roasted agave and vanilla on the nose, honey, orange peel, and toasted oak on the palate, with whispers of pineapple, cherry, walnut, and anise woven throughout. The finish is long, smooth, and warming: caramel and gentle spice rounding out a spirit equally at home neat or in an elevated cocktail.
